Maktoub is an instrumental music project founded by Ayman Mabrouk/ Percussionist - Ahmed Maher/ Oud player - Wael El-Sayed/ Accordionist. Later on Joined by French Lebanese Double Bass player Andre Segone.
Four renowned musicians blending their diverse experience together to explore a new genre of music.
The main component of this music genre, is Arabic music - which presents the common background between them - mixed with Jazz influences and world music sounds.
Using different ways of composing, such as individual composing, group composing or workshop, exploiting a high level of understanding between the four musicians.
